The Church of the Sepulcher of Mary in the valley of Kidron in the vicinity of Jerusalem is, according to the ancient ecclesiastical tradition of Orthodox Christians, the place "where the body of Mary was placed", mother of Jesus Christ. The grave is at the foot of the Mount of Olives.
