According to tradition, St. Jerome lived in the city of Bethlehem the last years of his life, where he was able to complete his work of translation of the Bible, called "Vulgate." It is located in the chapel of the Grotto of St. Jerome under the Basilica of the Nativity in the town of Bethlehem, Palestine.
